This research emphasizes the crucial role that traffic education plays in the training of inexperienced drivers, referred to as "novice" drivers, and its impact on the prevention of traffic accidents at both local and national levels. The study focused on Guayaquil Canton in Guayas Province. The process was conducted privately with driving school students, with the participation of the National Transit Agency, which provided comprehensive traceability of information related to the topic. One of the most significant findings highlights the urgency of implementing projects to improve traffic safety at local and national levels. It was found that 60% of novice drivers admitted not having received comprehensive training before obtaining their driver's license. This deficiency is linked to the high number of traffic accidents nationwide. The data revealed that, of 100% of respondents, 75% had been involved in a traffic accident in the past year, and of these, 45% were novice drivers. The study also evaluated that 80% of drivers who had received proper traffic education reported perceiving themselves as better drivers, with improved safety while driving, which contributes to reducing accident rates.
