Open Access policies

YUYAY journal  adheres to the principles and definitions of Open Access from the  Budapest Open Access Initiative 2002 and its updates to the San Francisco Declaration in 2012 and its updates.

For authors, from the submission of the article to publication, the costs of editorial production are not transferred, meaning without APC (Article Processing Charge). Authors retain the copyright of their articles without restriction. For more details, review the Copyright and Self-Archiving Policy.

YUYAY coordinates with JLA Ediciones the entry of its content into catalogs, digital repositories and databases, to reuse and self-archive its articles.

YUYAY declares its openness to the participation of authors and readers from institutions outside the publishing entity (JLA EDICIONES). It is in the interest of the Permanent Editorial Committee and its chief director to expand the geographical and institutional coverage of their publications.

For readers, all the content of the journal is freely accessible, with no embargo periods, no restrictions, no registration, subscription or payment requirements for readers; The material is free and open to the internet in digital format for educational, academic and scientific purposes.

The journal collaborates with the Open Citation Initiative (I4OC), which encourages Editors to openly make references found in journals and/or books available in Crossref repositories.
