The journal YUYAY adheres to the principles of Open Access defined by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (2002) and its subsequent updates, as well as to responsible research assessment principles such as those proposed by the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA).

Copyright ownership
Once an article is published, the journal may promote and disseminate its content partially or in full provided that proper credit is given to the author(s), who retain the intellectual property rights of their work at all times.

Each article published in the journal receives a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to ensure persistent identification and traceability.

Reader rights
YUYAY provides its content in open access format, allowing readers to access, read and download each article free of charge once published.

Automatic dissemination
The journal promotes the visibility of its articles through inclusion in academic repositories such as BASE, CORE and CLASE (UNAM), among others. Additional indexing services can be consulted in the Indexing section.

SELF-ARCHIVING POLICY

The journal allows authors, once their work has been accepted, to self-archive their articles for non-commercial purposes, including deposit in institutional or thematic repositories such as Mir@bel, academic social networks (ResearchGate, Academia.edu), and researcher profiles such as ORCID or Google Scholar.

JLA Ediciones promotes the academic dissemination of published research to increase scientific visibility and impact.

ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGES

The journal does not charge submission or article processing fees (APC). Authors may submit and publish their work without any cost and readers have free access to all published articles.

The journal YUYAY is published by JLA Ediciones, an independent research publisher based in Guayaquil (Ecuador) with representation in New York (USA), dedicated to the publication of scientific research, literary works and educational materials.
