The objective of this essay is to analyze Activity Theory in the educational context of the National Pedagogical University (UPN) 142, Tlaquepaque. Lev Vygotsky's cultural-historical psychology principles served as the foundation for this theory. The methodology involved examining this theory in conjunction with the institution's educational practices while considering the sociocultural characteristics of students and the broader community. The findings reveal that the evolution of Activity Theory across its generations has a direct impact on education, enabling students to enhance their learning both in classrooms and through professional development. The theory contributes to academic research by integrating psychology, education, and society with practical applications at UPN 142 in Tlaquepaque. The conclusions highlight the essential characteristics of each generation of the theory and emphasize the importance of the teacher-student relationship in improving university practices and shaping education professionals at different levels.
